Gemfields and Mila Kunis Celebrate 2013 Global Launch and Exclusive Collaborations with International Jewellery Designers, London, 14 March 2013
Wright & Teague were excited to partner with Gemfields, the ethical coloured gem mining company for their International launch of Zambian emeralds and Mozambican rubies.
Inspired by their interest in the relationship between ritual and heritage in jewellery Gary Wright and Sheila Teague deliberately chose to use smaller, finer rubies collectively to express energy and life, and to portray a true union of colour and form.
For the Phoenix ring, the signature Wright & Teague flower motif is translated; carved and set with rubies to create a powerful allegory for the significance of this gem as a symbol of birth and renewal.
The Mneme earrings have a bolt of dainty rubies forming a joyful river of fire; both elegant and confident.
